Sleep Inside a Moving Palace
The Palace on Wheels offers 42 cabins across 14 air-conditioned coaches — 36 Deluxe, 3 Super Deluxe, 2 Suites and 1 Presidential Suite — each coach named after a former princely state of Rajputana and dressed in its colours and craftsmanship. Every cabin is an en-suite retreat with individual climate control, plush bedding, antique wooden furniture, silk fabrics, an electronic safe, internet and the round-the-clock care of your personal attendant, the Khidmatgar.
Deluxe Cabin
The classic Palace on Wheels cabin, set across twelve coaches each named for a Rajasthani city. Twin beds, traditional Rajasthani décor and large picture windows, with an en-suite shower bathroom, electronic safe, internet and round-the-clock butler service.
Super Deluxe Cabin
Housed in the Bharatpur coach, the Super Deluxe cabins pair twin-sharing beds and rich Rajasthani interiors with large windows and an en-suite bathroom — adding a dedicated guide, private excursion car and spa access to the full butler service.
Suite Cabin
In the Jhalawar coach, just two Suite cabins offer a queen-size bed beside a panoramic window for sweeping desert and countryside views, a modern en-suite bathroom, dedicated guide, private car and a complimentary spa session.
Presidential Suite
The pinnacle of the train, occupying its own private coach: a king-size bed, separate lounge with handcrafted armchairs, an en-suite with jacuzzi and shower, Vietnam-marble floors and a ceiling of intricate Thikri mirror-work — with 24×7 personal butler, private car and spa access.
