The social heart of the Palace on Wheels lies in its richly adorned common areas — hand-painted frescoes, antique mirrors, carved wood panels and brocade-upholstered chairs that recall the dining halls of Rajput palaces.
Maharaja & Maharani
Two on-board restaurants serve a daily-changing menu — Rajasthani specialities, Mughlai and North Indian classics, plus Continental and Chinese dishes. Vegetarian, Jain, gluten-free and other dietary needs are catered with notice.
Swarn Mahal & the Lounge Car
The Swarn Mahal bar pours premium spirits, Indian wines and handcrafted cocktails, while the lounge car — with its flowers, artwork and soft furnishings — is the place to read, socialise or simply watch Rajasthan roll by.
