Jodhpur — The Blue City
Founded by Rao Jodha in 1459, Jodhpur is Rajasthan's second city — a sea of indigo-washed houses gathered beneath one of India's mightiest forts. Guests are welcomed by the royal brass band of Mehrangarh.
Jodhpur is known for the blue glow of its old town, the soaring ramparts of Mehrangarh, and the exquisite craftsmanship of its carved windows and palaces.
